Description
The Exocet is a strikingly different lure both in shape and how it performs when it is trolled. The range was specifically designed for targeting tuna species. It is recommended that only a single hook be used. The Exocet runs on or just under the surface depending on trolling speed - just as a fleeing baitfish would do when pursued by a predator. While the Exocet is suited to be used as a flat line lure, it can be trolled on the outriggers where it constantly slaps the surface creating an enticing action. Can be trolled between 8 to 15 knots or attached to the outriggers when chucking or drifting with live bait. Simply allow the Exocet to sink to your desired depth (3 fathoms or 30 fathoms - where ever you think the fish may be) and the movement of the boat creates an action in the lure.
